Class Maintenance - Schedule bar

Use the Schedule bar in conjunction with the Staff Schedule Maintenance window to show:

Opening the Schedule bar

To open the Staff bar:

Select Curriculum > Class Maintenance from the SynWeb main menu.
The Class Maintenance Search Criteria window is displayed.
Search for the class. See Searching for classes.
Scroll down to the Schedule bar, if required.
Click the Schedule bar.

Tip: You can click anywhere on the bar to open it.

The Schedule bar of the Class Maintenance window is expanded.

Class Maintenance - Schedule bar key fields and buttons
Fields

Field	Description
From Date/To Date	Select the date range for scheduled classes you want to view.

Grid area fields

Field	Description
Semester	Semester the class is scheduled for.
Date	Date the class is scheduled.
From	Time the class is scheduled to begin.
To	Time the class is scheduled to end.
Staff	Staff member responsible for the class.
Room	Location of the class.
No. of Students	Total number of students in the class.
Comment	Comment entered when class was scheduled using Synergetic.
Class Type	Type of class. For example, Practice Exam or Tutorial.

Buttons

Button	Description
	Refresh the grid values based on updated selection criteria.

Common buttons

Button	Description
	Navigate between the selected classes.
	Delete the selected class, if no students are taking the class. See Deleting classes.
	Launch the Create New Class window to add a new class to the database. See Creating new classes.
	Display the Class Maintenance Search Criteria window. You can update the search criteria and search for new classes. See Searching for classes.
	Launch the Customise Tab Layout window. See Customising navigation bars in the Introduction manual.
	Create a new task relating to the current class. See Managing tasks in the Introduction manual.
