Description

The DefaultPhotoResolution configuration setting is used to set default image resolution for the "Photo" column in the view dbo.vPhotos.

Tip: This view is used in many reports and changing the default image resolution to a lower resolution may improve performance.

Default value

The default value is H - High. Images are displayed in high resolution.

Setting a new value

Type a new code into the Value field of the Configuration File Maintenance window. See Maintaining configuration files.

You can set the value to:

  • M to use medium resolution photos
  • T to use thumbnail resolution photos.
