You can process Staff payroll details received from External System via SIF messages to import employee details received from an external system (e.g. HROnboard) into Payroll Maintenance. The initial Staff action message does not contain any financial entity-related data, and can be safely processed while connected to any finance entity without impact.
Note: You must process the Staff details received from External System via SIF message before you can process this message. See Processing Staff details received from External System via SIF Action Centre messages.
Important: The information contained in this Action Centre message cannot be copied between finance entities (schemas). Organisations using multiple finance entities (schemas) must ensure they are logged into an instance of Synergetic with the required finance schema before processing the message.
To process a Staff payroll details received from External System via SIF message:
- Click .
The Action Centre Summary window is displayed.
Tip: You can also click a link in the Action Centre Summary window to launch a specific message, task or alert in the Action Centre. - Click .
The Description tab of the Action Centre window is displayed. - Select the Staff payroll details received from External System via SIF Action Centre message.
Note: You do not need to link a community member to this message. The Linked to Community Member field is pre-populated with the community member used to process the Staff details received from External System via SIF Action Centre message. See Processing Staff details received from External System via SIF Action Centre messages. - Accept or reject the details supplied from the external system. You can:
• Select the Accept and Reject fields in the grid are to accept or reject individual changes
• Click or to accept or reject all changes. - Click .
The received information is processed and a records is created in Payroll Maintenance.
Processing the Staff payroll details received from External System via SIF Action Centre message is complete.
