Description

Use the UserIdentifier configuration setting to set the level of uniqueness used in the debtor statement generation work tables.

Note: This configuration setting is required because some Crystal reports do not pass through overridden workstation IDs to SQL Servers. This is particularly troublesome in a Citrix environment where the host name varies depending on whether the user is directly or remotely connected to the server.

Default value

The default value is HOST. The computer name is used.

Note: This is the default option in a non-Citrix environment.

Available values:

  • HOST - The computer name is used
  • HOST+USER - The computer name and user name are used.
  • USER - The user name is used
  • NONE Recommended for Citrix environments.

Note: Only one user can generate statements when the NONE value is set.

Note: HOST+USER and USER options may be incompatible with debtor statement reports.

Setting a value

Type a different value into the Value field on the Configuration File Maintenance window to set a new level of uniqueness for the debtor statement work tables. See Configuration File Maintenance window.
