You can create enrolment deposits:
- Using Cash Receipts Entry. See Entering cash receipts.
- Using Enrolment Deposits Maintenance.
Creating enrolment deposits using Enrolment Deposits Maintenance
To create an enrolment deposit using Enrolment Deposits Maintenance:
- Select Module > Debtors > Enrolment Deposits Maintenance.
The Set Enrolment Deposits Search Criteria window is displayed. - Click .
The Create New Enrolment Deposit - Enrolment Deposit window is displayed. - Select the Deposit Code and Tax Code.
- Adjust the Amount and Original Date, if required.
- Type in the name of the person paying the deposit in Drawer
- If the drawer wants to donate the deposit, select Donate Deposit, and the appropriate Fund.
- Click .
The Create New Enrolment Deposit - Locate Student window is displayed. - Click to locate the student for whom the enrolment deposit is being paid.
Note: You can type an ID to search for or click to open the Student Search window.
The Create New Enrolment Deposit - Locate Repayees window is displayed. - The Repayee fields are automatically populated with the student's debtor(s).
Note: If you need to correct these fields, select whether to search students, future students or community, and click . - Click .
The General tab of the Enrolment Deposits Maintenance window is displayed.
