Use the Comment tab to:
- make other staff aware of important information about the student
- maintain important comments about the student.
To open the Comment tab:
- Select Module > Students > Current Student Maintenance from the main menu.
The Set Current Student Search Criteria window is displayed.
Tip: You can also access the current student functions by clicking.
- Search for the student. See Searching for existing students in the Current students manual.
- Click the Comment tab.

Current Student Maintenance - Comment tab key fields
Field | Description |
|---|---|
Show Important Comments Message | Select to indicate that there are comments on the student's record. The Tip: Click the Note: A system beep may also warn of important comments. |
Comment | Comments about the student. For example, 'Parents separated: student spends alternate weeks with each parent'. |
