Current Student Maintenance - Material tab

Use the Material tab to list materials used to aid a student, usually for courses conducted by outside organisations or correspondence courses.

Opening the Material tab

To open the Material tab:

Select Module > Students > Current Student Maintenance from the main menu.
The Set Current Student Search Criteria window is displayed.
Tip: You can also access the current student functions by clicking .
Search for the student. See Searching for existing students in the Current students manual.
Click the Material tab.
The Material tab of the Current Student Maintenance window is displayed.

Current Student Maintenance - Material tab key fields and buttons

Grid area fields

The following fields are listed in the Material grid area:

Field	Description
Material	Abbreviation for the material.
Description	Description is populated from Material Maintenance. See Maintaining materials and suppliers in the Curriculum manual.
Date	Date the material was ordered.
Returned	Date the material was returned.
Comment	Additional comments, as needed.

Buttons

Button	Description
	Launch Material Maintenance for the selected material. See Maintaining materials and suppliers in the Curriculum manual. Tip: Click on the Student Maintenance toolbar to refresh the grid when you return from Material Maintenance after changing data.
