Linking assets when adding or updating assets

You can link assets when:

• adding new assets
• updating asset details, when modifying creditor invoices.

To link assets with others:

1. Update the way the asset type is linked. See Create New Asset - Asset Type window (modifying).
   The Asset Search window is displayed.
   
2. Enter the information, you know about the asset you want to link to, in the Search Criteria area.
   Tip: You can leave all these fields blank to display all assets.
3. Click .
   The Asset Search window is redisplayed with assets that meet your search criteria.
   
4. Highlight the asset you want to link to.
   
5. Click  to link the assets.
   Tip: You can also link to an asset by double clicking on it.
