Copy/Paste Data

Windows

Users can to use standard windows copy and paste (Ctrl+C & Ctrl+V) from a local windows environment to the hosted environment.

Mac

For Mac users, note that Command ⌘+V will not work but Ctrl+V does.

An additional option to achieve copy and paste functionality exists in the hosted container.

Copy from Local Windows to Hosted Environment

  • Copy the data as normal (Ctrl +C)

  • In the hosted environment select the clipboard Icon

  • Select Ctrl + V (this will place the copied text into the Content Preview field)
    (Mac users also need to use Ctrl + V instead of Cmd + V)

  • In the Synergetic field place the cursor in the field you wish to paste the data

  • Enter (Ctrl + V)

Copy from Hosted Environment to local Windows

In the hosted environment highlight the data you wish to copy

Press Ctrl +C to move content to local device

Note: the data will not display in the content preview section

On your local device paste the data (Ctrl + V) into the application you are using

Hosted users are unable to right click and paste is some areas, including email generated through the synergetic user interface.
