Resolution

The 997 error code is caused by write access to the Reports Archive path that is defined. If the staff member does not have access to the file path, or if the file path has moved, then the 997 error gets thrown. It is advised to set the path to a local drive or direct to the server. It should not be to a mapped drive in order to prevent these errors.

Considerations

For debtor statements the file path locations is found in Finance Configuration Maintenance -> Debtors -> Page 3 -> Statement Archive Path.

For Payroll this is the file path in Payroll ->Payroll Configuration → Payslips Archive Path
