Users on v69.31 and above

Cause

Additional security was introduced in version 69.31 to align with other areas of the system. If the user need to forward date into the next month they will now be required to have permission to forward date postings. The specific group user security permission is outlined below and will need to be granted to your Payroll user. 

Resolution

In order to post in the next month users will require permission to do so via Group User Security

1. Go To System > Group/ User Security
2. Find the user/ group of users
3. Grant permission to GEN | Future Dated Posting

This permission will prompt the user to acknowledge that they are forward dating a posting before proceeding. 

Considerations

Consider who may need this permission, it will likely only need to be granted to the user that is responsible for creating the pay.
